Southern Bride Photography Winner!

Stepping into the Southern Bride Magazine Photography Challenge was both exhilarating and humbling! I was so excited to be surrounded by so many incredible photographers, and have the opportunity to showcase my work. Little did I know that this day would mark a significant milestone in my photography career.

From the moment I arrived, I was overwhelmed with excitement. Every detail was executed to perfection, and was a dream for any photographer!

As the day unfolded, I found myself facing the challenge of working with bright, harsh light—a task that would test my skills as a photographer.

Instead of shying away from the intensity of the sun, I embraced it, harnessing its brilliance to create images that radiated warmth and beauty.

In hindsight, it was a perfect representation of a real wedding day, where the weather and lighting are sometimes completely out of your control. What a great challenge!

Any photographer will understand the feeling of being ecstatic to get home and begin the editing process. (If you know, you know!) When it came time to submit my entries, I poured my heart and soul into each photo, hoping to convey the beauty and emotion of the day.

And when the results were announced, I was overwhelmed to be named the winner of the Southern Bride Magazine Photography Challenge! YAY!
